More Countries, More Water: AquaFund achieves larger Impact in México

Last week I was honored to represent the PepsiCo Foundation at the launch of the AquaFund project in Mexico, a program that comprises financial support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the PepsiCo Foundation, the Swiss Cooperation, and the government of Austria, to facilitate investment mainly in water supply and sanitation in underserved communities of Latin America and the Caribbean. The Promise of PepsiCo Mexico

A 25-year veteran of PepsiCo, I believe that there has never been a more exciting time for PepsiCo Mexico. With some of the most cherished, iconic food and beverage brands in the country—Sabritas, Gamesa, Pepsi, Quaker, Sonric’s—we delight consumers every day, deliver great value for our customers and create delicious products that people enjoy around the world. That was clear as we toured a number of Mexico City restaurants and retail stores today with our Chairman and CEO, Indra Nooyi. We saw it firsthand during a visit to Burger King. When you go to BK in Mexico, you get customized Whopper-flavored Ruffles with your burger—served with your favorite beverage like Pepsi, Mirinda or 7UP. And the BK Storm ice cream, topped with our Milch chocolate and Emperador cookies, is a sweet way to finish a meal. With all of our beloved brands, this is the kind of... Read more
