Five Places I Love in the Middle East

The Middle East and North Africa region, or MENA, is perhaps the most exciting and dynamic place on earth right now. It has the world’s youngest population, with the majority of people below the age of 30, and it has a diverse and vibrant economy. It also happens to be a great part of the world for PepsiCo, where both our beverages and snacks enjoy status as some of the region’s best-loved brands. We sell a wide variety of products in MENA beyond Pepsi and Lay’s, including a sparkling juice drink called Tropicana Frutz, a non-alcoholic malt beverage called Bario, a savory bread snack under the Sun Bites brand and Quaker “Oats for Rice.” I was born in the region and grew up here, both personally and professionally, and one thing I love about it is the amazing places to visit. PepsiCo’s Arab Youth Delegation to the 9th Annual UN Youth Assembly: A Dream Come True

On August 3, young people hailing from around the world descended on New York City to attend the 9th Annual UN Youth Assembly. In support of this event, I am filled with pride and excitement that PepsiCo is supporting 15 Arab Youth leaders to take part in what is now known as the ‘PepsiCo Arab Youth Delegation’. Our delegation consists of youth leaders from the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia and Algeria.
